crafting

The long production process begins with a careful, handpicked selection of domestic and exotic woods that have been dried to obtain maximum stability.  Much of our inventory has been waiting for the right project for the perfect marriage of material and design. The process continues through out the different manufacturing stages, a mixture of old and new technology.

Using techniques utilised by boat builders and inspired by nature, each piece is an intricate blend of hardwoods joined in intricate patterns to create exceptional shapes.  A unique, multi-layer coating, adapted from boatbuilding is then applied to deliver complete water proofing.  This durable finish protects the wood from scratches and UV light as well as bringing out the original wood grain, giving the finished piece beautiful depth and texture.

Our main geographic market is the Greater Vancouver, Canada area, with special projects in Whistler, the Okanagan and the Gulf Islands.  With our teams of talented trades, we offer the full range of general trades and general contracting services for the partial, or complete, transformation of our clients’ spaces.

Our bespoke pieces can be shipped anywhere in the world as the client requires.
